What did Blue Compass know, when did they know it, and why didn’t they tell us? Now that the repairs to our 2026 Sport Trek are complete I need to address the lack of transparency our buying experience has been. May 29, 2026 we purchased a new travel trailer June 3, 2026 Pre-delivery Checklist is performed, broken awning and rear stabilizer noted to be broken. Never told us and did not fix them. June 4, 2026 We called to confirm the travel trailer is ready for pick up. We were told yes. June 5, 2026 We drove 3 hours to pick it up. Kelly walked us through our new unit describing functions of the water heater, control panel, etc. Never telling us the broken items found during the pre-delivery checklist. June 9, 2026 Found passenger side rear stabilizer motor broken, zip tied to frame. Called Blue Compass but was completely ignored. I reached out to Venture the manufacturer. Thank goodness they helped us. June 13, 2026. Extended the awning, found it to be broken. Back and forth with the service department. Laura was amazing and helpful. Finally repaired a month later, July 15, 2026. This company is a nightmare to deal with. They knew items were broken and never told us. See the p

Sold us a lemon of a camper. Bought a 2024 to stay in while we're building a house. Paid in cash. So they knew we'd be living in it as a family over the summer.... Gary, the sales guy, seemed to have talked a big game. Like he kept saying "He gets paid regardless".... 🙄 He told us it was taken in for service and EVERYTHING was checked. Told us the burners on the stove had an issue but it was being serviced and cleaned. Also told us it was being flushed, getting full propane, a new light dimmer cover that was missing, and a new battery. These were his reasons why it took two whole days before we were able to pick up the camper. Well, we get it and it was not cleaned, was not flushed, and has a very visible leak continuing in the shower just with the water hooked up - not even turned on. Also, the stove does not work at all, there was no grill in the outdoor kitchen that should've been there, we never got the light dimmer cover that it was missing that Gary told us would be mailed to us because it wasn't there in time, etc.... it's been a new issue daily. Now we're almost 3 weeks out from purchasing, and I've contacted Gary several times with these issues. He got a serv

We can say enough good things about working with this company! From our salesman Gary, to financing with Matt, walk through with ? (He was so sweet but too many names at pu!), to hitch install with Zack. We even met the original salesperson Aline who sold the camper to the original (and only) owner. They were AMAZING! They were honest, took our needs into account, kept in constant communication, and didnt try to sell us a brand new camper that we didnt need or upsale anything! This is our first camper, and we couldn't have had a better experience! Go here first!

Greg was wonderful to work with for our first ever camper purchase! He was patient with all the questions we had, wasn’t pushy about the sale, and predicted we would be back to purchase…and we were! We shopped around and Blue Compass had the best price and customer service in the tristate. Don’t bother going anywhere else.

Where to start? I made a call and was connected to Greg in sales. I asked my questions and he got me the answers within a day. The team work that Greg and Blue Compass have is amazing! The process of purchasing a camper was smooth and easy! They made sure you felt comfortable and at home! They made my needs and wants, their needs and wants!
